Since these reports have surfaced, well-known environmentalist, Erin Brockovich, has offered her help to those living in the neighborhoods being questioned. Brockovich Takes Action Brockovich is reportedly working with several attorneys throughout the state of California to seek justice on behalf of those at risk. She claims that the homes tested thus far, those in Westcott Plantation, have already tested positive for benzene, acetone, and methane. “The fingerprint has been the same over and over again, and some of those compounds exceed guidelines, which are telling us we need to do more investigation, “explains Brockovich.
