Stage II Recovery systems work to capture these types of vapors and store them underground until they can be properly dispensed. The High Cost of Health Gas station owners and industry representatives claim that the systems are too expensive and they question how beneficial the system will be. “It would be a shame to extract $10 million from the local economy with no improvement in our air quality,” commented John Webster, the owner of a gas station in Pima County. However, mothers with children who have illnesses like leukemia are asking the committee to require the systems immediately. (Source: Arizona Star) Have you been wrongfully exposed to benzene?
